Interviews with Jerry Springer and Neyo on back to back days. It’s an interviewers dream ‘cause they both are naturally gifted talkers! Sounds like common sense but any interview is only as good as the people you’re interviewing. From time to time you guys have asked who are the best and worst celebrities to interview? Here is my list of best and worst in no particular order.
BEST
Nick Lachey
Pink
Ludacris
Will Farrell
Gwyneth Paltrow
WORST
Chris Rock
Jessica Alba
Haley Joel Osment
Harrison Ford
Billy Bob Thorton (the second time we interviewed him)
If you guys can remember some that you thought were the best or worst let me know.

Re: Best and Worst Bert Show Celebrity Interviews

Dear Bert,
Love the show - i know u must have heard that more times than what the national debt is....anyhoot, I don't have a suggestion as to what WAS the best or worst interview(pls don't stop reading), but I know what COULD BE the best interview ever - one with Aaron Eckhart (The gorgeous dude from the Dark Knight, Meet Bill, Thankyou for smoking, etc.)
Like Jenn Hobby's crush on Sean W. Scott, Mr Eckhart is on the top of my top 3 list, and he always seems to fly under tha radar, and stay out of the limelight...so - I figured it would be GREAT to hear him on your show....
Thanks so much for reading over my ranting...

Yo Bert...
Kelly Clarkson back in January was a pretty rockin interview! She was funny, sweet, open and down to earth. Plus she swore like a sailor while playing Rockband! Always makes for entertaining radio hearing Jeff jump for the "BEEP" button.

I don't know if you consider her a celebrity or not, but the lady who was a matchmaker that talked about assessing potential people to set up that she recommended plastic surgery to improve their appearance.

The Justin Timberlake interview for the "Who Do You Know Contest" was pretty painful. It was really uncomfortable as a listener and there's nothing I hate more than being uncomfortable for someone else.

I have to say Kelly Clarkson...the girl was just too funny and personable on your show. Even when talking about her "failed" (relatively speaking) album. A breath of fresh air and a great hour!

TOM CRUISE was really fun with you guys. I recall that he ran lines from "A Few Good Men" with Jeff. That was so funny.
The you can't handle the truth line... OMG I was laughing so hard that morning.

I thought Enrique Iglesias should go under the BEST category. He seemed really down to eaeth, and had a great sense of humor. I had no clue he was that funny. I thought the interview went really smooth.

Re: Best and Worst Bert Show Celebrity Interviews

Kelly Clarkson should have been at the top of the list for the best interviews. She was funny and engaging. She just seems like someone cool you could hang out with.

About Bert Weiss

Hey Y'all.

I can't believe that it's been over seven years since I started "The Bert Show" in Atlanta. Before Q100, I was part of the support staff on morning shows in San Diego, Washington, DC and Dallas.   Q100 gave me my first shot at hosting a morning show. I was so nervous to come to Atlanta.   I remember my fear of failure being so intense the first few months that I actually went on anxiety medication.  Ridiculous, right?

Seven years later I'm really proud of what the Bert Show has done.  When the show started, we literally were the last ranked morning show in the city.   Thanks to you guys we've come a long, long way since then.

So much has changed in my life since we got here. My son Hayden is now 6. I have a 19 month old, too: Hollis. There are so many transplants here that in a few years he may be the only kid in his class to say he was actually born in Atlanta.   Parenting has brought out the best and worst in me. Parenting exposes my emotional baggage but also brings out the best in me.  Watching the person that my sons are growing into is a happiness that I never could have imagined.

My wife and I celebrated our eleventh wedding anniversary this year.

My real love is traveling. My wife and I have traveled all through the Caribbean, Bahamas and Europe.  If there's a beach I want to be on it. Even better if there's a beach I'd like to be surfing then be on the sand. I also love Costa Rica and Brazil. If the US government told me I had to leave the country tomorrow I'd choose Brazil to live.  You haven't experienced a New Year's until you're on the beach with over a million people in Rio de Janeiro.

Give us a try in the morning. We're on from 5:30 to 10am.
