Hey it's Brittany, and if you're looking for something to tickle your funny bone this weekend, The Sixth Annual Black Box Improv Festival is back and bigger than ever!  Stop by the Georgia Tech campus starting September 11th (to the 20th) for a nightly show as local improv groups face off in the BBIF Tournament. The audience votes for their favorites which will compete in the finals on the 18th and 19th.  The main shows from Sept. 16th - 20th feature both local and national acts!

Most of the shows start at 8 and 10:30 and general admission for the regular shows is $10.  But since I love improv, I bought my $20 ticket for the main event or "The Big Show" which features national acts the Upright Citizens Brigade from New York and The Naked Stage from San Francisco.

All-access passes are also available. For detailed ticket, show and parking information, visit their website Black Box Improv Festival.

About Brittany

Hey, I'm Brittany!  I'm "that girl that comes on after The Bert Show" or alternately "that girl I won a prize from!" when I run into you on the street or at a Q100 event.  I live in the Virginia Highlands, and you'll find me eating at Harry & Sons sushi, walking my dogs in the park, or catching some great improv at Dad's Garage.  I've got all of the best brunch recommendations in town, just ask!

I'm also pretty good at naming songs by the lyrics, so if you can't figure out what that song is that's stuck in your head, give me a call between 10am and 3pm and I can probably tell you.  I also just like to hear from people who are listening throughout the day, so call the request line, 404-741-Q100 and tell me where you're listening at work!  You can follow me on Twitter as @Q100Brittany
