My favourite part of the Holiday season in Atlanta is back!

Lake Lanier Islands Resort has kicked off its annual Magical Nights of Lights holiday celebration and as a yearly tradition, I definitely had to go. Something about the cold night air and the colorful, bright lights of The Holiday Village just screams "It's Christmas Time!"

Their Holiday Village has carnival and pony rides along with delicious holiday treats like sugar cookies, candy canes and gingerbread!

If you know anything about me, you know that I have a serious sweet tooth so starting the evening off with a cup of hot cider and roasted marshmallows was mandatory!

And of course, it wouldn't be Christmas without Santa!  Nothing will bring out the kid in you quicker than seeing the gleaming eyes and the rosy red cheeks of Jolly Ol' St. Nick. So yeah, that's me sitting on his lap giving him the run down of my Christmas list. Can you guess what I asked for?

I got to go at the very beginning of the season, but you still have plenty of time to take your family to see the gorgeous display of lights. Click here to see even more pictures from Lake Lanier Island's Magical Nights of Lights!  Don't let the season pass you by without visiting!

About Brittany

Hey, I'm Brittany!  I'm "that girl that comes on after The Bert Show" or alternately "that girl I won a prize from!" when I run into you on the street or at a Q100 event.  I live in the Virginia Highlands, and you'll find me eating at Harry & Sons sushi, walking my dogs in the park, or catching some great improv at Dad's Garage.  I've got all of the best brunch recommendations in town, just ask!

I'm also pretty good at naming songs by the lyrics, so if you can't figure out what that song is that's stuck in your head, give me a call between 10am and 3pm and I can probably tell you.  I also just like to hear from people who are listening throughout the day, so call the request line, 404-741-Q100 and tell me where you're listening at work!  You can follow me on Twitter as @Q100Brittany
